Puma Maintains 2025 Forecast Despite Q1 Sales Dip

China’s April Exports Exceed Expectations

China’s exports rose 8.1 percent year-on-year in April, surpassing forecasts of a 1.9 percent increase, while imports contracted by 0.2 percent, a smaller decline than the anticipated 5.9 percent. This followed a 12.4 percent export increase in March as factories rushed shipments before US tariffs took effect. Despite ongoing trade tensions, China’s export sector remains a key component of its post-pandemic recovery. Trade talks between China and the US are scheduled to begin this weekend in Switzerland.
